Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when He was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. It is an outward symbol of an inward change. Baptism is a time of celebration and public declaration of new life in Christ. Bring your friends and family with you, so you can celebrate together. If you’re ready to take this next step in your spiritual journey, please watch the video below and then register for a time that works for you.

At Bethlehem Church we believe in marking milestones, such as becoming a parent, where you dedicate your child and yourselves to God and the purposes that He has established for families. We offer Beginnings Dedication Celebration, our baby dedication celebration, to give parents an opportunity to commit themselves to Christ and affirm their commitment to work towards living a life that shows Christ to their children and others. For more information about Beginnings Dedication Celebration, please e-mail Amy Giles at
