Weekly Worship & Message

What age can students attend BC Students events?

All students 6th-12th may attend BC Students events, unless specifically noted in event promotion. Our weekly worship services are open to all students.

When do we meet?

Wednesday Nights – YouthQuake meets at the Student Center from 6:30-8:00pm. Every Wednesday our café and game area opens at 5:30pm. The café serves dinner every Wednesday night ($2) along with snacks and drinks. Following YQ, students, leaders and parents head over to Floyd & Blackies for “AfterShock.” This is an informal gathering with no agenda at all. Lots of great pastries, coffees and ice cream!

Sunday Mornings – We have student worship at the South and West Campus. Students will experience live worship led by their peers and teaching from the current series, followed by small group discussion. Worship times are the same as the Bethlehem Church schedule for each campus. (South 9:30am, 11:00am and West 10:15am)

The Principles of BC Students

We are here to connect youth, whose culture constantly changes, with the biblical truth that never changes. We do this by equipping our leaders and students through evangelism, discipleship and leadership development.

Know

Students will be challenged with relevant, engaging Bible study in large group (YouthQuake) and small group (Sunday mornings) settings in order to deepen their understanding of God’s Word. Students will also be encouraged to develop a pattern of reading books that will help strengthen their convictions and equip them to answer the steady influence of the world around them.

Matthew 28:19-20

Grow

One of the main tools for growth in a student’s faith is a consistent quiet time. BC Students uses Word of Life quiet time journals to help develop a pattern of spending time in Scripture daily. Studying the Bible, Scripture memory and accountability offered within our small groups are helping to develop fully devoted followers of Christ.

Colossians 1:9-11; 26-7

Show

The faith of a follower of Jesus is most evident not in simply what they know, but what they show. Serving others in our community in response to the faith within us is a priority in the life of BC Students. Two main areas students show their faith is in faithfulness to the church and by developing a life of serving others at home, at school, in the community and around the world.
