Support & Recovery

DivorceCare

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group who will walk alongside you as you go through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through separation and divorce alone. For more information, contact John Whitaker at john@bethlehembc.com.

Embracing the Fatherless

Embracing the Fatherless ministry is to bring awareness to the needs the modern day orphan, which is defined as a child deprived of parental care through no fault of their own. Embracing the Fatherless wants to love and serve foster and adoptive families in our community. If you feel called to foster or adopt, or called serve the foster and adoptive parents of our church through prayer or acts of service, or feel called to serve the orphans in our community, this is the group for you! For more information on our ministry or the next scheduled event, please contact Jennifer Brock or Melissa Warsinsky at embracingtf@gmail.com.

Safe Families for Children

Safe Families for Children is a volunteer movement that gives hope and support to families in crisis. Under current economic conditions, many families experience financial crisis, unemployment and homelessness. In these situations, parents may be incapable of providing a safe environment for their children. Host families accept temporary legal guardianship of at risk children and care for them until their parents can provide a stable environment. Other volunteer opportunities include: Family Friends, Resource Friends, Family Coaches and Safe Families Plus Mentors. Contact Chrystol Wagner or Melissa Warsinsky at safefamiliesbethlehem@gmail.com to learn how you can get involved.
