Weekly message straight from Pastor Dickie Spargo to you!

You can’t change everything. But you can change you.

When your life feels like it’s falling apart, knowing what you can change — and what you can’t change — can make all the difference.

You can’t change your past. You can’t change your parents. You can’t change the gifts and talents God has or hasn’t given you. You can’t change a handicap you’ve been given. You can’t bring back a dead loved one.

This is the biggest shopping day of the year and the one in which you will see people losing their temper and acting CRAZY!! Why is that?

Have you noticed that human beings have a tendency to mimic the emotions of people across from us?

Medical research shows that we do this because of mirror neurons in your brain. They allow you to sympathize and also to mirror what other people feel.

Happy Thanksgiving!! Enjoy this beautiful day and celebrate with your loved ones! I have some truths I want to share with you today that I KNOW will help you live a more thankful life! Here we go…

You will never change the things in your life that you know are defective unless you learn the truth. Change requires learning the truth.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner; I can almost smell the turkey and pecan pie, also a fresh dozen of Krispy Kreme’s. I’m making myself hungry!!

If God has been good to you…did I just say that? Of course God has been good to us! We live in America, we have a home and running clean water, and with that we are the most fortunate of the world.

“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” 2 Corinthians 9:6

God often compares giving to sowing seeds. Like a farmer, if you go out and sow a bunch of seeds, you’ll get a bunch of plants. If you only sow a few seeds, you’ll only get a few plants. And if you sow no seeds, you’ll get no plants.
